Boundary Survey
A survey to identify property corners. May also include the marking of the property lines, if requested.
Land Division Survey
A survey to divide a parcel of land into smaller parcels in compliance with the Michigan Land Division Act and local authorities regulations.
Mortgage Report
A report typically performed for a lending institution to determine the location of improvements on a parcel of land. Property corners are typically not identified.
FEMA Flood Zone Determination
A survey to establish elevation information around an existing structure or parcel of land to determine if it falls within a FEMA designated flood zone. The information is then used to complete a LOMA or elevation certificate.
Site Plan / Development Planning
A survey to accurately locate improvements on a parcel of land and place them on a drawing. This may include existing and/or proposed structures, drives, parking lots, walkways, utilities, etc.
Topographic Survey
A survey to measure the change in elevation of a parcel of land. Many times this is needed for design purposes and is shown on the site plan drawing as spot elevations and/or contours.
ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey
A survey that meets the Land Title Survey requirements. Typically performed for commercial properties.
Construction Staking
Performing field layout of proposed improvements for contractors.
Hydrographic Survey
Defining bottom lands under bodies of water.
Site Condominium Drawings
Exhibit B drawings prepared to develop a parcel of land into a site condominium. Required to accompany a master deed.
